Good Time Blues, Swing and Rockin' Boogie!   Chet Cannon is a self described Terminal Blues Fan who once attended 26 blues shows in only 29 days. A fan of the blues since the 70's. Developing his singing voice from a young age going to church with the family, and later singing along to Chuck Berry and Elvis Presley on the radio. Over the years attempting to play drums, trumpet, guitar, and most recently the harmonica; which you'll hear every now and then when you catch our show.    The Committee was formed in 2001 to perform at a Rock Xmas 4 Kids event at Etta's Place and we've just kept laying it down since. Thanks to the cats who have been a part of this project. Special Thanks to my pal Tony Agosta; full time Committee member since the 2002.     We've worked all around Southern California for eight years now and I feel quite blessed to have had an opportunity to share a stage with some very talented musicians in this time. We've opened for Candye Kane, James Harman, John Hammond, Rod Piazza's Mighty Flyers, Chris Cain, Little Charlie and The Nightcats, Magic Slim's Teardrops, Maria Muldaur and others. We pour our heart into every performance, so come and have some fun with your new favorite swingin' blues band sometime soon.   We've certainly had some good times. . . El Monte, and many points in between.     Our debut Don't Get Me Started! CD was Nominated best blues record of 2006, we we've also been Nominated best blues band 2007 and 2008 by San Diego Music Awards Association.
